दु:ख की छंटती बदलियां..

पीटूपी की मेहरबानी कि रहते-रहते फ़ि‍ल्‍मी नगीने हाथ लगते रहते हैं, और यह बात, शिद्दत से, भूलती नहीं कि हिंदी फ़ि‍ल्‍में क्‍यों और कैसे इतनी अझेल हैं. आज सुबह की अच्‍छी शुरुआत फ़ि‍निश निर्देशक आकि कॉउरिसमाकी की ‘ला विये दि बोहेम’ (1992) और ‘ड्रिफ्टिंग क्‍लाउड्स’ (1996) के रतन से हुई है. कॉउरिसमाकी की ज़्यादातर फ़ि‍ल्‍मों की तरह, यहां भी, कहानी के किरदार बहुत सहज-स्‍वाभाविक तरीके से, दु:ख के हदों को छूते हुए कहीं बहुत उसके पार निकल जाते हैं, और हमेशा की तरह, मज़ा यह कि सिर गिराकर रोते-गिड़गिड़ाते नहीं, उलटे, बड़ी मासूमियत से, अच्‍छे वक़्त की वापसी का अपने दु:स्‍साहसी तरीकों से इंतज़ार करते हैं. उनके दुस्‍साहस की हद होती है कि कभी-कभी सचमुच दु:ख ही गिड़गिड़ाता उनके रास्‍ते से हट जाता है..

लड़ि‍याहट में कॉउरिसमाकी और उनकी फ़ि‍ल्‍मों पर फिर कभी लिखूंगा, फ़ि‍लहाल ‘ड्रिफ्टिंग क्‍लाउड्स’ के एंड क्रेडिट का गाना ठेल रहा हूं.



फ़ि‍निश गाने का एक बेसिक अंग्रेजी तर्ज़ुमा यह रहा:
